ADA, OK – People’s Electric Cooperative Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Jenny Trett as the new district 2 Trustee for PEC. The district 2 seat was left vacant due to Matt Holder’s, the previous trustee, move to Weatherford, Oklahoma.

Jenny is the Administrator-Division of Treasury for the Chickasaw Nation in Ada, where she is responsible for the oversight of budgeting, financial reporting and procurement.

Ms. Trett is a graduate of Sulphur High School. She received her B.S. degree from East Central University and an MBA from OSU. She and her husband, Ron, live south of Sulphur with their two children, Keagen and Garrett. Jenny has been a life-long member of People’s Electric Cooperative. Serving those around her is important to Ms. Trett and is one of the reasons she was interested in joining PEC’s Board. "I believe in the philosophy of PEC as a servant organization, working for the best interest of its members," said Trett.

In addition to many professional memberships, Ms. Trett is active on the Chickasaw Nation Boys & Girls Club executive Board, and is a graduate of both Leadership Murray County and Leadership Oklahoma.

"On behalf of the PEC Board of Trustees, I would like to thank all the qualified members who applied," stated Dr. Laurin Patton, PEC Chairman of the Board and President. "It was a very tough decision for the Board, but we believe Ms. Trett will be a great representative of PEC members in district 2."

Ms. Trett was seated on the Board on June 28, 2012.
