Operations Equipment Assistant

Department: Purchasing & Warehouse
Hours: Part Time
Shift: 12:30 PM-5:30 PM Mon.- Thur.
Job Summary: Facilitate the processing of high voltage power transformers, and other operations related equipment in an efficient manner. Responsible for accurately laying out transformers for work orders. Unload transformer delivery trucks and accurately check contents of shipments against packing lists. Safely operate forklifts for various duties, including all sizes of transformers, reclosers, regulators, and other operations equipment as assigned. Responsible for keeping retired transformer areas neat and orderly, and accurately restock transformers. Responsible for basic testing, repair, and refurbishing of transformers.
Qualifications: Must be able to obtain a forklift certification (Training provided by the cooperative). Must be able to work well in adverse weather conditions. Must be able to lift 80lbs. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs. Extended periods of walking required. Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively without close supervision both individually and with coworkers. Must be available to work on a part-time basis from Monday through Thursday, up to twenty (20) hours per week. Must possess a valid Oklahoma Drivers License. This position is classified as a Safety-Sensitive Job under state law.
