SCAM ALERT: Be wary if anyone demands immediate payment
Press ReleasesDate: March 13, 2019

Scammers continue to target electric co-op members. Two PEC members reported yesterday that “someone called demanding payment.” They were told their “power would be shut off immediately” if they did not pay with their credit card over the phone. Another member reported receiving a call “regarding a returned check” and the caller demanded “immediate payment” in the same manner.  Rest assured, our employees will NEVER call you and demand immediate payment over the phone.

Testimonial

Just wanted to take a minute to say thanks for all the help in getting the power lines put underground. This will help us continue with the installation of our pipe bridge. Kudos to this crew. They did a great job out here and we really appreciate it.

Just a note to say thank you for all the electric work the co-op has done for us. The workers were courteous of our property, kept us informed of their tasks at hand and were completely respectful. Thanks again and blessings!
